On view at Pink Noise Projects January 2022 is a selection of the meta-writing behind Frances Cordelia Beaver’s 2021 Graphic Novel, On a Cute One, telling the story of a trans woman named Cordie with snakes for hair who turns a boy scout to stone on a cross country train trip. These materials include sketches, drawings, conceptual ephemera, research, and notes all created during the process of making the book.
Frances Cordelia Beaver is obsessed with the organization of her ideas and really likes to see how other artists and storytellers organize their thoughts and make sure nothing is forgotten or left out. Very simply, this is her showing the kind of thing she likes to see from other artists.
