Tamsen Wojtanowski is an artist living and working in Philadelphia, PA. In her studio practice she explores the materiality of the photographic medium. Interested in where the medium of photography might overlap with painting, printmaking and installation, the resulting work oscillates between the abstract and the representational.

Tamsen’s work has been shown nationally in exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Seattle, Philadelphia, and Portland. Tamsen is a founding member of the artist-run exhibition space NAPOLEON, started in 2011. She is an instructor in photography at the Tyler School of Art/Temple University and at Arcadia University.
